In Endorsement Marketing a joint venture is formed. The endorsing party lends his recommendation or endorsement to a product or service offered by another business... the Endorser, who has the credibility to bring the customer to the table. The business offering the goods or service actually makes the sales and a fee is paid to the endorser for his service.

Celebrities do it on television. and in snail mail campaigns. And businesses both big and small do it everyday in every industry imaginable. By following a few simple steps they frequently generate tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time.

By simply arranging an endorsement marketing venture between 2 businesses, your business can reap undiscovered profits.

Here's a few ideas to get you started.

Let's suppose that there is a bookstore in your town.

A health food store may send mailer to their list of customers about a new book on How to Live Longer.

A cleaning service with a steady clientele may endorse a local dry cleaner.

A small business bookkeeper may endorse a gift shop at the holiday season.

A website selling a newsletter about home repair might endorse a residential alarm system

An automobile dealership might endorse a car detailing business

A golf teacher could endorse a special line of clubs for beginning students

A pool cleaning service could endorse a lawn service

A florist could endorse a travel agency

An Internet marketing site could recommend a marketing course

As you can see the possibilities are endless. If you grab a notepad and a pencil you can probably come up with a list of local businesses twice this size in just a matter of minutes... If you need a few ideas, look through the categories of businesses in the yellow pages and imagine which businesses might have a customer list that would be interested in your business' products.

Remember that the key here is to find DIFFERENT types of business than yours, where customers would have common interests. Health food stores and health food books...not health food stores and health food stores. No one wants to lose their customer base...but using another's base to market an honest and valuable product can make both endorser and endorsee thousands of dollars,
